The smartphone was introduced in China back in June

Some smartphones are never meant to go global, but fortunately, the Galaxy C7 is not one of them. The Chinese market, even though it's probably the largest in the world, has its benefits and disadvantages, which is why many smartphones specifically built for this market never get released in other countries.

Samsung launched the Galaxy C7 in China back in June, but didn't offer any details about the availability of the smartphone in other countries, so we assumed it would never be released globally.

Well, it looks like the smartphone is about to make its debut in the United States. The Galaxy C7 hasn't yet hit shelves, but customers can pre-order one via major retailer B&H Photo for $459.

The Galaxy C7 sold by B&H Photo features dual-SIM support, but you won't be able to use it on any U.S. carrier's network, so make sure you check that out before making your purchase.

It's also worth noting that the retailer does not have a shipping timeframe for the Galaxy C7, so it's still unclear when it will be shipped. However, we do know that B&H Photo will sell the Gold and Gray versions of the smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy C7 is a pretty decent mid-range smartphone that ships with the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, an Adreno 506 graphics processing unit, and 4GB of RAM.

It comes in two variants, 32GB and 64GB, but you will only be able to order the latter at B&H Photo. Either way, internal memory is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

The Galaxy C7 sports a large 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. It also packs a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture, dual LED flash, and full HD (1080p) video recording.

In the front, there's a secondary 8-megapixel camera for selfies and a fingerprint sensor hidden under the Home button. The phone is powered by a non-removable 3,300 mAh battery that features fast charging compatibility (Quick Charge 3.0).
