14 DAY TRIAL // Back in March this year, Samsung released the Galaxy A9 Pro, thus adding a new device to the company’s array of powerful smartphones. Now, it seems that an international variant of the Galaxy A9 Pro will be hitting the market quite soon, as it has just passed through the FCC.
Samsung’s Galaxy A9 Pro has recently been spotted at the FCC, with the code number SM-A910F. This would suggest that an official announcement will soon be made, and the Galaxy A9 Pro will be available outside China. The smartphone has also recently got certification from the WiFi Alliance and the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG).
The device will be arriving in the US soon enough, but there’s no information at this point as to which consumers living in other countries will be able to get their hands on the smartphone.
Galaxy A9 Pro international variant will have the same specs as the initial variant
The international variant of the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro is expected to sport quite the same specs as the initial model made for China. It will have a 6-inch Super AMOLED display of 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset coupled with Adreno 510 graphics processing unit.
Furthermore, the Galaxy A9 Pro will pack 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage under the hood. In addition, it will drain power from a 5,000mAh battery and feature an 8MP front camera as well as a 16MP rear camera.
Moreover, the Galaxy A9 Pro international variant will most likely come with a single-SIM configuration, but there’s still a chance that a dual-SIM variant could be launched.
The price of the smartphone is quite unclear at this point, but in India the handset costs $540 (€482), which is approximately the same price tag that the SM-A910F should have. More information is bound to surface, since this variant of the phone has passed through almost all the major certification offices.
