14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung released the Galaxy A9 Pro in China a while back, and it seems that it won’t be long until a version of the phone hits international markets. We know this because Samsung’s Galaxy A9 Pro international variant has recently received Bluetooth certification.
The Samsung SM-A910F, thought to be the internal variant of the Galaxy A9 Pro, code name SM-A9100, has received certification from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group, according to Tablety. Bluetooth certification for a smartphone usually signals an imminent launch, which means that the device could be released later this month.
Recently, the handset also received Wi-Fi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA), for the standard and the dual-SIM model. Last month, the Galaxy A9 Pro was spotted on a Polish retail website, which has already launched pre-orders for the device.
The international variant should have the same price as the standard model
Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro international variant should come with the same specs as for the standard model, which translates into a 6.0-inch super AMOLED display with 1080p resolution. It could also provide Gorilla Glass 4 shield and a pixel density of 367ppi.
The standard model packs a Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor and an Adreno 510 graphics processing unit while it provides 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory expandable to 256GB. Moreover, it sports a 16MP camera on the back with OIS and f/1.9 aperture.
Front camera capabilities reach 8MP, and the smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. It runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box and a fingerprint sensor.
Pricing and availability for the Samsung A9 Pro are unknown at this point, but its price in India reaches $540 (€482) while the international variant should feature approximately the same price tag. However, that remains to be seen as Samsung could make some modifications to the internal variant, which would affect the price.
