The fact that the Galaxy Note 7 is already a success even though it hasn't yet hit shelves is undeniable, but it seems that it might take some time until people are able to get their hands on the device, or at least that is the case of customers in several countries.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 7 on August 2, with pre-orders set to start on August 19 in many countries around the world. However, it seems that the company has decided to postpone the launch of the smartphone in certain regions.

Indeed, the Galaxy Note 7 will be delayed in Russia and Ukraine, according to GaGadget. Pre-orders have been delayed from August 16 in Ukraine and pushed back to September 7. The release date was previously set on September 2, just like in other countries, but it seems that the company decided to reschedule it to September 30. This amounts to a delay of approximately one full month.

The release date for the Galaxy Note 7 has been postponed in Russia as well

The same situation has been reported in Russia, where the Galaxy Note 7 was expected to launch on September 2 but will hit shelves on September 16, which amounts to a two-week delay, approximately. The news will surely upset customers in the country, but Samsung has stated that it resorted to such a measure because of "unprecedented demand for the smartphone in the world."

The smartphone features a $1,003 or €900 price tag in Ukraine, and customers get a free new Gear VR for each order.

The Galaxy Note 7 was delayed in other European countries, including Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands, as well as in Malaysia. The release was delayed to September 9 in the Netherlands, while the rescheduled release date wasn't even announced for Malaysia.

It seems that Samsung is prioritizing certain markets and struggling to meet demand, while delaying the release date in others.
