14 DAY TRIAL // If you missed our previous report about the new content coming to Remnant: From the Ashes, one of the nicest surprises this year, here is heads-up to put you in the know. First off, the folks at Gunfire Games released an Adventure Mode on September 12, which added a new layer of exploration to the game, by allowing players to ”re-roll” the following biomes: Ruined Earth, Rhom and Yaesha without having to play all the way through the main campaign.
On September 19, another update hit Remnant: From the Ashes, which added a new dungeon called Leto's Lab. All content included in these updates is available for free to all owners the game regardless of the platform.
Now let's talk a little bit about Leto's Lab, the new dungeon in Remnant: From the Ashes that was released yesterday. The dungeon dynamically spawns on Earth and can be accessed through the main campaign and Adventure Mode that was added last week. Leto's Lab promises to challenge players with a unique puzzle, as they attempt to escape the lab and uncover the dark secrets of Dr. Leto Apostolakis' experiments.
The dungeon is full of Splitter enemies, which must be defeated before players taken on the Riphide boss, which will reward them a Displacement Crystal. The item can be redeemed at Ward 13 (just talk with McCabe) for a Flicker Cloak Mod.
There's also an armor set hidden somewhere in the lab, which you must find it. Leto's Lab takes players on a quest through Research Station Alpha, a primary location for the research of the mysterious red crystals.
Although Leto was the one who unlocked the World Stone on Ward 16 allowing humanity to instantaneously travel to other worlds, his experiments soon diverged from their initial goal as he started to use the World Stones as resources for his dark experiments. It's up to you to uncover the rest of the story behind Let's Lab, which was evacuated after one of Leto's experiments failed.
