One of January’s most anticipated titles, Rainbow Six Extraction, is coming to Xbox Game Pass on launch day, allowing members to play on Xbox consoles and PC right from the game’s release on January 20.

Also, Rainbow Six Siege, already available as part of Xbox Game Pass, will be available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members the same day.

Unlike Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft’s upcoming Rainbow Six Extraction is a cooperative PvE experience that puts players in the shoes of Rainbow Six Siege operators with up to three friends, facing off against mysterious aliens that are threating the Earth.

The game will feature 18 operators to choose from at launch, as well as a wide range of unique gadgets and weapons. Players familiar with Rainbow Six Siege will definitely feel at home playing Ubisoft’s new multiplayer coop PvE title.

In the same piece of news, the French publisher announced that it will bring Ubisoft+, its subscription service, to the Xbox in the future. Keep in mind that Ubisoft+ will be available on Xbox as a separate subscription service and will not be included in the Xbox Game Pass.

By making Rainbow Six Extraction available to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass members on the day and date of its launch, we’re demonstrating that we believe in the value and choice that game subscriptions offer to players. Rainbow Six Extraction for Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass members is just the beginning. Ultimately, we will offer the Ubisoft+ subscription service to Xbox owners so that they can enjoy the full extent of our Ubisoft+ game library, including new releases, on their consoles,” said Chris Early, Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development at Ubisoft.

Ubisoft+ has a library of more than 100 Ubisoft games, including the latest releases, DLC and classic games, and offers rewards which include customization items, boosters and other in-game perks. At the moment, Ubisoft+ is available on PC, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna, and soon will be available on Xbox.
