Sony announced late last month the three games PS Plus Essential subscribers will be getting in October: Injustice 2, Superhot, and Hot Wheels Unleashed. However, those who pay more to have a larger library of games at their disposal will be getting a bunch of additional free games this month.

More than two dozen games are coming to PlayStation Plus for Extra and Premium subscribers, including The Medium, Dragon Quest Builders, Dragon Quest Heroes and several Assassin’s Creed titles. All the games announced today will be available for download starting October 18, and they’re all free if you’re paying for PS Plus Extra or Premium.

By far the most popular title coming to PS Plus Extra/Premium this month is Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition (PS4/PS5), although we’re not sure it’s also the most polished game. Another major hit joining the PS Plus Extra/Premium library is Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition, an epic JRPG that fans of the genre shouldn’t skip.

Several Assassin’s Creed titles will be available on October 18 too, including Assassin’s Creed Odyssey (PS4), Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China (PS4), Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India (PS4), Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia (PS4), Assassin’s Creed III Remastered (PS4), and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate (PS4).

Also, Dragon Quest fans will be happy to know that there are more titles in the same universe coming to PS Plus this month: Dragon Quest Heroes II: Explorer’s Edition (PS4), Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below (PS4), Dragon Quest Builders (PS4), and Dragon Quest Builders 2 (PS4).

Other important games joining PS Plus Extra/Premium this month include Inside (PS4), The Medium (PS5), Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker (PS4), and Hohokum (PS4).

Last but not least, several “classics” will be available for PS Plus Premium subscribers: Yakuza 3 Remastered (PS4), Yakuza 4 Remastered (PS4), Yakuza 5 Remastered (PS4), Limbo (PS4), Ultra Street Fighter IV (PS4), Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (PS3), and Everyday Shooter (PS3).
