If you're a PlayStation Plus subscriber, make sure you add the two free games Sony offers this month: Uncharted 4 and Dirt Rally 2.0. If you don't pay for a PlayStation Plus subscription worry not, as Sony has just announced that two additional games will be available for free for all PlayStation owners.

As part of the Play At Home initiative, and as a thank you to all who are self-isolating to lessen the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sony will be providing free games to help keep the PlayStation community entertained at home.

The first two games that will be available for free to all PlayStation users – Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey, will be downloadable between April 16 and May 6. Once you add the games to your library, they will be yours to keep forever, you don't need to download them to your console.

Sadly, PlayStation users in China and Germany will not receive Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. However, Sony will be replacing the Uncharted bundle with Knack 2. Alongside Journey, Knack 2 will be available for free between April 16 and May 6.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection includes three standalone games: Uncharted - Drake's Fortune, Uncharted 2 - Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3 – Drake's Deception. Although these games were originally released on PlayStation 3 between 2007 and 2011, the collection includes the PS4 remastered versions of the games.

Journey is a gorgeous exploration game that offers an emotional experience from start to finish. The game was launched on PlayStation 3 about 8 years ago and then re-released on PlayStation 4 back in 2015.

Besides announcing the two free games, PlayStation revealed that it will establish a $10 million fund to help smaller independent game studios who might experience financial difficulties continue working on their games despite the COVID-19 outbreak.
