Nokia 9 will be the next powerful smartphone that Finnish company HMD Global releases to the market later this year. A new report by NPU reveals when the device will arrive and the price tag that it will have in the US.

Nokia 9 will most likely arrive to the market at the end of Q3 this year, while its price tag will reach about $699 in the US. The smartphone will have different prices in markets from all over the world, as taxes differ. This means that Nokia 9 could be sold for €749 outright in Europe.

The reason why Nokia 9 will arrive at the end of Q3 could be connected to the fact that the smartphone is rumored to incorporate the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 platform. The platform is known to have some supply issues, considering that Samsung has dibs on the initial supply and many other smartphone makers are interested in featuring the SD835 in their latest flagship phones.

6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage

The upcoming Nokia 9 is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch OLED display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and 6GB of RAM inside. Such a high RAM capacity would surely make the phone appealing, especially since many flagships today still come with 4GB of RAM.

Nokia 9 is also expected to feature 128GB of internal storage and a 22MP dual-lens camera on the back, possibly Carl Zeiss-branded. The selfie snapper is said to have a 12MP lens, while battery capacity inside the phone could reach 3,800mAh with Quick Charge 4.0 support.

Moving on, the rumored specs are said to include IP68 certification against water and dust damages, as well as Android 7.1.2 Nougat and Nokia OZO audio enhancements, together with 3D capture and playback support. Nokia 9 could very well be a VR-enabled smartphone, considering the high display resolution and the latest Snapdragon platform.
