Two new Nexus smartphones are expected to be released soon, and images of the devices have already leaked online. Aside from renders and live pictures depicting their design, Nexus Marlin and Sailfish have also been benchmarked. Now, the former, which is also the larger of the two handsets, has just hit AnTuTu.

Nexus Marlin has been spotted on AnTuTu, and some of its specs have been revealed. The image with the benchmark test has been posted on Weibo and spotted by Steve Hemmerstoffer.

The benchmark test reveals that Nexus Marlin will most likely sport a 5.5-inch display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution and pack Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 chipset with a quad-core CPU, coupled with Adreno 530 graphics processing unit.

The image also shows that the smartphone will have a rear camera capability of 13MP while the front unit will reach 8MP. Besides, the device will draw power from a 3,450mAh battery. It will also come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, 32GB of internal storage, and 4GB of RAM.

The specs are in line with previous rumors generated by the fact that the Nexus Marlin also passed through Geekbench just a month ago. In addition, the phone will come with USB Type-C port and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity option.

Nexus Marlin will be released together with Nexus Sailfish

On the other hand, Nexus Sailfish will come with a smaller, 5-inch display with a pixel resolution of 1080p and 440ppi. Just last week, Nexus Sailfish passed through AnTuTu as well, and benchmark test revealed that it would come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, as well as a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 1.59GHz.

The smartphone would draw power from a 2,770mAh battery and boast USB Type-C port and Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Both devices will sport a fingerprint sensor on the back and supposedly share the same camera capabilities, on the front and back.
