Today at the earliest, Google is expected to launch the new Android Wear 2.0 for smartwatches, as well as the first two devices to run the new OS. Reputable leakster Evan Blass has just shared a render of the two upcoming smartwatches.

Last month, Evan Blass shared a clear render of the new smartwatches, together with details about the devices’ specs and components. The picture reveals the difference in design between the two smartwatches; the LG Watch Style features a smoother look compared to the LG Watch Sport.

LG Watch Sport is expected to come in titanium and dark blue, and feature a 14.2mm circular OLED display. The smartwatch has a higher resolution of 480 x 480 pixels, compared to the 360 x 360 pixel resolution on the Watch Style.

LG Watch Sport is the flagship device with a 1.38-inch display

The LG Watch Style has a 1.2-inch screen and a battery of 240mAh, smaller than that of Sport’s 430mAh juicer. When it comes to internal storage, both devices feature 4GB, while RAM capacity is different, 768MB on LG Watch Sport and 512MB on the Style variant.

Moving on, both smartwatches will feature Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, while the Sport stands out with cellular connectivity options, including 3G and LTE data, aside from GPS and NFC, which enables Android Pay.

The two smartwatches will come with iOS compatibility and a digital crown button for navigating inside applications, while the display supports handwriting recognition. The devices will feature IP67 or IP68 certification and integration with Google Assistant. LG Watch Sport will also come with a heart rate sensor.

Google is expected to make the two smartwatches available for purchase immediately after their official unveiling in the US, while customers in other countries might have to wait until March to be able to purchase them. A recently leaked document suggests that the LG Watch Sport might be made available at AT&T, but that remains to be seen.
