14 DAY TRIAL // We're just one day away from the reveal of Google's new Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches, the LG Watch Sport and LG Watch Style. The smartwatches are expected to go on sale a few days after the official reveal for $350 and $250, respectively.
Those anxious to get their hands on either of the two smartwatches probably know what to expect since pictures of the LG Watch Sport and Watch Style leaked online last week.
The latest leak comes via GSMArena in the form of live pictures showing the retail package of the LG Watch Style, the cheaper smartwatch of the two.
Aside from these rather irrelevant pictures, it's worth mentioning that the manuals of both LG Watch Sport and LG Watch Style were briefly uploaded on LG's website. They are not available anymore, as LG has been quick to remove them.
The LG-made smartwatches are the first to ship with Android Wear 2.0 on board, the new platform that will be launched on the same day, February 8. The new OS will be available as an update to all compatible devices, though it's unclear when exactly users will be able to download it.

The most expensive of Google's new smartwatches, the LG Watch Sport, sports a 1.38-inch OLED display with 480 x 480 pixel resolution. The cheaper Watch Style comes with a smaller 1.2-inch OLED display that supports 360 x 360 pixel resolution.
Connectivity-wise, both wearable devices include many connectivity options such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but only the Watch Sport comes with cellular connectivity (3G and LTE support), GPS and NFC (Near Field Communication).
When it comes to hardware, LG Watch Sport is the better-geared, as the smartwatch packs 768MB RAM and 4GB storage.
The Watch Style comes equipped with 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, and a 240mAh battery, as opposed to the Watch Sport that is powered by a 430mAh battery.
iOS compatibility and Google Assistant integration are mentioned too, along with IP68 and IP67 certifications for water and dust resistance.
