Along with its new RIG PRO Compact controller, Nacon introduced today new gaming headsets lineups specifically designed for PC and consoles. New versions of the popular RIG 500 Pro Series and RIG 700 Pro Series will be available for purchase in the United States later this month.

The new RIG 500 Pro Gen 2 comes with a few upgrades over the first generation 500 Pro headset, such as a comfort-enhanced steel headband and low distortion 50mm drivers that have been specifically tuned for immersive game audio.

Depending on what gaming platform they use, customers can choose between four different RIG 500 Pro Gen 2 variants, although the price is the same with one exception. Those using Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or PlayStation 5 consoles will have to pay $70 for a pair of RIG 500 Pro Gen 2 headsets.

PC gamers will be able to purchase the RIG 500 Pro Gen 2 for $80 since these include longer cables and y-splitter. There's also a pair that's suitable for multiplatform consoles and portable gaming, which costs $70. The latter is now available at GameStop, with all other RIG 500 Pro Series variants coming to major retailers across the county on May 20.

Next in line, we have the RIG 700 Pro Series, which promises zero lag, even though they are wireless. Featuring an ultra-lightweight design (only 241g), the new gaming headsets are available for Xbox and PlayStation platforms.

In fact, these are among the lightest wireless headsets available for Xbox and PlayStation consoles. The two new models revealed today come with a self-adjusting head strap along with dual-material ear cushions.

Customers can pick up the RIG 700 Pro HX (officially licensed for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One) or the RIG 700 Pro HS (PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4) exclusively from GameStop starting today for just $120.
