Motorola is expected to announce another mid-range Android smartphone with some high-end features, the Moto M. Along with the Lenovo P2, the Moto M will be unveiled on November 8, if previous rumors are accurate.

The Moto M was caught on camera last week, along with some information about the phone's specs. Today, yet another round of live pictures of the Motorola Moto M have been posted online, and from what we can see in the photos, this a big enough smartphone.

According to a post by Steve Hemmerstoffer of Nowhereelse.fr, the Moto M is a phablet that sports a decent 5.5-inch display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features 401 ppi (pixel per inch).

Under the hood, the Moto M hides a 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 chipset, the latest SoC announced by the Taiwanese company last month.

Just like most high-end smartphones, the Moto M will pack 4GB of RAM and at least 32GB of internal memory. There's no mention of microSD card, but the SIM tray might contain a second slot for the memory card.

The same source claims the Moto M will feature a 13-megapixel camera on the back, while in the front there's a secondary 8-megapixel selfie camera. There's also a fingerprint scanner on the back side, right below the main camera.

Despite previous rumors claiming the Moto M will be powered by a huge 5,100 mAh battery, the latest leaks confirm Motorola's upcoming smartphone will drain energy from a much smaller 3,050 mAh battery.

Software-wise, Motorola Moto M is said to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, which would be quite sad for such a high-end device. However, Motorola might provide an Android 7.0 Nougat update in the not so distant future.

There's no word on price or availability yet, but we won't have to wait too long for these details to emerge since the Moto M is expected to be unveiled on November 8, so stay tuned.
