Lenovo is said to be working on an upcoming smartphone under the Motorola brand, a device that’s nicknamed Kung Fu. The smartphone carries the codename XT-1662 and has been spotted online several times over the past few weeks.

We're talking about the upcoming Moto M, which has just leaked in some live images that reveal its sleek and polished design. The images leaked over at Techdroider show that the smartphone will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and sport an aluminum body with a fingerprint sensor on the back.

The Motorola logo is placed at the bottom of the phone, while the fingerprint scanner is located just below the rear camera sensor. In the front, the phone has small and sleek side bezels that give the whole device a premium look.

Moto M could come with 3 or 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage

Previous rumors have said that the smartphone might come with a 5.5-inch 1080p HD display and 3GB or 4GB of RAM. It has also been said that it might have a 16MP camera in the back and an 8MP sensor in the front for snapping selfies and conducting video calls.

Internal storage could reach 32 or 64GB, with the option to add more using a microSD card. The Moto M smartphone is said to measure 151 x 75 x 8 mm and could incorporate a 3,000mAh battery and run a 1.9GHz MediaTek MT6750 SoC.

Moreover, the report states that Moto M could be the first Motorola smartphone to come with a fingerprint sensor on the back and to support 4G connectivity options.

There’s talk that the device could be announced in November, but that remains to be seen. Motorola could be working on two variants of the smartphone, one for the Chinese market and one to be launched globally. Pricing details are unknown at this point, but more information will surely surface soon.
