Both white and black versions of the flagship confirmed

One of the first press renders of HTC's flagship smartphone that's supposed to be launched in April leaked a few days ago.

Both press renders and live pictures of the HTC 10 surfaced online not long ago, but the most important thing is that we also got confirmation on some of the smartphone's specs.

Today, a few more pictures of the flagship have been published by the same leaksters that provided us with the first images earlier this week, @OnLeaks and @evleaks.

We get the chance to take a look at both front and back sides of the black HTC 10 variant while VentureBeat published a new press render of the white version.

As many of you probably know by now, the smartphone will be launched on the market as HTC 10, not HTC One M10 as previously rumored.

A release date is yet to be confirmed

One of the few aspects that have yet to be clarified regarding the HTC 10 is the launch date. Although previous rumors claimed the flagship will be officially introduced on April 11, @evleaks now says that the smartphone will arrive on April 19.

April 19 is the date that shows up on the phone's homescreen, as seen in the first press render leaked online a few days ago. However, the second press render provided by the same source has a different date on its homescreen, April 12.

So, while we know for sure that HTC 10 will be unveiled sometime in April, it's unclear when exactly it will happen. It could be announced on April 12, or a well later, on April 19.

Another thing that's been clarified by @evleaks is the fact that a Windows 10 Mobile version of HTC 10 won't be announced.

Some of you might remember that we reported last month that HTC and Microsoft plan to launch one or more Windows 10 Mobile handsets. Unfortunately, an HTC 10 running Windows 10 Mobile is out of the question, at least, for the time being.
