HTC is readying what could be the company's last flagship smartphone. Previously known as HTC Perfume and One M10, the next high-end device coming from the Taiwanese handset maker is likely to be called just HTC 10.

The name has been recently leaked by both @evleaks and @OnLeaks, along with some press renders and live pictures of the actual device.

A prototype HTC 10 unit has been caught on camera if you want the real thing, or you can revel in the press render provided by @evleaks, which shows every part of the upcoming flagship smartphone.

The only thing that the company teased about the HTC 10 was the fact that it will come with a very compelling camera, but the pictures leaked today come along with confirmation on even more specs.

So, according to @OnLeaks, the HTC 10 packs a 12-megapixel photo snapper on the back with f/1.9 aperture, as well as a 5.15-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.

HTC chooses the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU

As expected, HTC 10 will be powered by a 2.15GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, coupled with an Adreno 530 graphics processing unit and 4GB of RAM.

There's no mention of storage, but it's been confirmed that HTC 10 will include USB Type-C port, something that the Galaxy S7 does not feature. Also, it will come with HTC BoomSound with Dolby Audio technology.

Previous rumors also claim the HTC 10 will pack a fingerprint scanner positioned under the Home button. We also know the smartphone will be available in three variants, based on the amount of storage inside: 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB.

Naturally, HTC 10 will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box, along with the latest version of HTC Sense. The flagship will be officially unveiled on or around April 11.
