Last week, HMD Global took to the official Nokia Twitter account to announce that the modern Nokia 3310 started shipping, but the company failed to provide details as to exactly which countries will get the phone and specifically when.

Now, HMD Global has confirmed that the modern Nokia 3310 will arrive in the UK on May 24, while customers from Germany will be able to get their hands on the new phone on May 26. Those from Netherlands and Belgium will have to wait until June 5 to purchase the modern Nokia 3310, according to a report.

The device will be made available in four colors, Warm Red and Yellow, which have a glossy finish, as well as Dark Blue and Grey, which come with a matte coating. The new Nokia 3310 carries a price tag of about £49.99, but it varies depending on the country.

The modern Nokia 3310 will be available at many UK retailers

The relaunched Nokia 3310 will go on sale in the UK at Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone on May 24, while pre-orders at Clove are still available. In fact, Clove’s website now receives pre-registrations for the new phone and estimates a delivery date sometime in mid-June. The date is actually in line with HMD Global’s previous estimations of a release date in the second quarter.

The updated model of the classic Nokia 3310 phone includes a new version of the Snake game and a camera for snapping pictures. The device runs on Nokia Series 30+ platform and weighs just 79.6 grams. Moreover, it measures 115.6 x 51.0 x 12.8mm while featuring a microSIM and LED flashlight.

The display size is just 2.4 inches with QVGA resolution and the phone comes with a 2MP camera with LED flash. It’s suitable as a secondary phone and it’s most certainly aimed at those who are nostalgic for the ultra-durable and reliable Nokia 3310 phone, which originally launched 17 years ago and recorded massive sales all around the world.
