14 DAY TRIAL // If you've been keeping up with the latest Minecraft news, then you already know that Mojang released several beta 0.14.0 builds on Android devices.
Last month Mojang revealed all the changes included in Minecraft: Pocket Edition 0.14.0, but the developer did not disclose any details on release.
Today, Minecraft: Pocket Edition 0.14.0 reached stable status, so Mojang has decided to bring it to all major mobile platforms including Android, iOS and Windows Phone.
For those unfamiliar with the new gaming features included in this major update, here is a quick recap that will give you an idea about what you'll get with the new version of the game.
First of all, the update brings more Redstone components such as comparators, repeaters, dispensers, droppers, hoppers, trapped chests, and various additional Minecart types.
Witches, cauldrons, improved chicken jockey mobs, more
Furthermore, Mojang confirmed that build 0.14.0 includes “spooky witches and their huts.” Each of these huts contains a cauldron filled with random potions and the ability to dye armor.
But that's not all, as the update offers Item Frames to display the coolest loot you find while exploring your world. Slime block, wearable pumpkins, red sandstone and improved chicken jockey mobs are part of the update as well.
In regards with the improved chicken jockey mobs, Mojang announced that baby zombies now have a 15% chance to want to be a jockey.
If they want to be a jockey, then up in getting near a player, they will look for one of the following to ride before attacking the player (Adult Wolf, Adult Ocelot, Cow, Pig, Sheep, Adult Chicken, Spider or Adult Zombies).
Last but not least, the new version of Minecraft: Pocket Edition comes with 15 new Redstone Specialists skins for Redstone engineering, mining, rail-riding and TNT-ing.
These are all the new gaming features included in this update, but expect some under-the-hood improvements to be added too.
