Mojang has just announced that a new beta version of Minecraft: Pocket Edition is now available for Android devices. This build brings developers closer to the release of the final version, but that doesn't mean that another beta build won't be released very soon.

Minecraft: Pocket Edition beta 0.14 build 4 does not bring any new features into the mix, but it adds lots of tweaks and even more bug fixes.

A significant Minecraft: Pocket Edition Beta 0.14 build that added lots of new gameplay features was released less than two weeks ago.

As it happens with these beta builds, bugs need to be fixed in future updates, which is why Mojang is working feverishly to squash all the issues reported by players or discovered by its own development team.

First of all, several tweaks have been implemented, which are meant to correct some issue with the new features introduced in previous builds.

For example, Double Ferns now spawn in cold climates all over the world. Also, Redwood Forests' moss stone boulders are now rounder.

Zombies can't be harmed with potions anymore, creeper explosions are stronger

The official changelog of this build mentions that boats now appear exactly where the player has clicked or tapped. Creeper explosions should now be much stronger and consistent in power.

Furthermore, Mojang confirmed that naturally spawned Villagers would now have more variety of professions. It's also worth mentioning that players will not be able to harm Zombies with a potion of Harming anymore. Last but not least, developers announced they had updated translations.

As mentioned earlier, the update contains lots of bug fixes. In fact, the list is so big that we have decided to attach the entire list below. Check it out if you want to know exactly what issues have been addressed in this build.
