The most recent version of SwiftKey for Android comes with several handy improvements and support for new languages.

SwiftKey is at this point one of the most popular third-party keyboards for Android devices, and Microsoft has been working hard on bringing new features to users.

After rolling out a major pack of improvements recently, which included a new toolbar that provides quick access to features like stickers, GIFs, and location sharing, Microsoft is returning with even more refinements.

Version 7.0.3.19 was officially launched earlier this week, but as it turns out, there’s more to explore in this update, as Microsoft itself reveals in the changelog published in the Google Play Store.

For example, with this update, SwiftKey is available in seven new languages, namely Aja, Blackfoot, Seychellois Creole, Kazakh (Latin), K’iche’ & Quechua (Southern). Without a doubt, not many users are actually typing in these languages, but it goes without saying that the more are supported, the better for everyone.

More customization options

But additionally, the most recent SwiftKey version comes with more customization options that make it possible for Android users to turn features on and off and rearrange them in the order they want. This is actually quite a welcome refinement because not everyone uses stickers and keeping the toolbar clean is quite important.

Furthermore, Microsoft says SwiftKey now supports location sharing in 24 new countries, without actually mentioning these countries. And last but not least, the apps’ emoji panel now opens to the last used tab when opening it. This means you should be able to send your favorite emoticons easier.

There are also two bug fixes, and the company says SwiftKey won’t crash when creating photo themes and users are allowed to re-personalize Gmail and Google+ without errors.

You can download SwiftKey APK for Android from Softpedia right now to try out all these improvements on your device. Android 5.0 or newer is required.
