14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has recently released another update for the Android version of SwiftKey, its own Android keyboard that with this new set of improvements reached version 7.0.3.19.
This time, however, the update is not as big as the previous one, despite adding some new languages. However, there’s a good chance only a small number of SwiftKey fans use these languages, as they are Alsatian, Fongbe, Norman, Urdu (English), and Warlpiri.
On the other hand, the rest of the SwiftKey users might find the bug fixes more compelling, as they address some pretty annoying issues with the Android app.
For example, version 7.0.3.19 finally corrects a problem causing the punctuation slider to no longer trigger the period when sliding. Additionally, the keyboard won’t lock up when trying to tag someone in Instagram comments, and the layout should be fixed when using Dvorak + split + undock.

Skype emoticons in SwiftKey
Last week, Microsoft released a major update for SwiftKey that included Halo stickers and Skype emoticons because as it turns out, people love this kind of content, especially on chat apps.
There are 24 Skype emoticons included in the latest update, as well as a collection of Halo stickers. The version was 7.0.2.16, but installing the release published today, you should be getting all the new features as well.
Again, all these improvements are available exclusively in the Android version of SwiftKey, and Microsoft hasn’t yet said anything about a planned rollout for iOS. SwiftKey is also one of the most popular keyboard apps on iPhone, so it’s more or less surprising that Microsoft leaves the iOS version behind.
