A new lineup of Surface models is believed to be just around the corner, with Microsoft likely planning to announce these upgrades in the coming weeks.

In addition to the second-generation Surface Go, which has already passed FCC certification, another model that could see daylight rather sooner than later is the Surface Book 3.

Just like the new Surface Go 2, the SB3 won’t receive any major cosmetic improvements, as the focus will be entirely on the hardware hiding under the hood. So instead of new features on the outside, you’ll get so much more on the inside, with latest-generation hardware, including the newest Intel chips, expected to be used.

But while Microsoft has remained tight-lipped on everything related to the SB3, several tidbits have already leaked, providing us with an early look at what we could get with the new model.

How much the Surface Book 3 could cost

Today we finally get some details regarding the price of the Surface Book 3, as a recent finding provides us with a closer look at the pricing information for two devices codenamed Project T and Project U. Both are believed to be part of the SB3 family, most likely referring to the 13.5-inch and 15-inch configurations.

According to this discovery, the 13.5-inch Surface Book 3 could start at €1,617 (approximately $1,765) and go all the way up to €2,616 ($2,859), while the larger model will be available for €2,234 ($2,442) to €3,441 ($3,761) depending on the configuration.

Needless to say, the prices could vary depending on taxes and everything else, but by the looks of things, the new Surface Book 3 will cost a bit more than the previous model, mostly because of the hardware upgrades.

Microsoft has obviously remained completely tight-lipped on everything related to the new Surface Book, so take the whole thing with a pinch of salt until a confirmation is offered.
