The company struggles to resupply the initial stock

It looks like Microsoft's new Windows 10 Mobile smartphones are selling very well, which might be one of the reasons the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are hard to find in some countries.

In the last couple of weeks, many retailers have pulled the Lumia 950 XL from sale citing “issues” with the phone. However, their explanations aren't clear to this date, so we're still in the dark regarding these so-called issues.

Microsoft recently published a short statement denying the Lumia 950 XL has any issues, software or hardware. The company stated that the reason the Lumia 950 XL is not available anymore at some retailers is because it sells too fast that stocks are dwindling.

Today, the Redmond-based company announced that Windows 10 is now active on over 200 million devices.

The long blog post that highlights some of the most important achievements for Microsoft in the last couple of months, there's a small paragraph that contains information on Lumia 950/950 XL.

Hopefully, Windows 10 Mobile update will be rolled out soon

The paragraph reiterates the fact that both smartphones are selling very well, and that the reason for them going out of stock or being pulled from sale is because of the high demand.

“The first Windows 10 phones, the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are now available worldwide and off to a great start, with initial demand outstripping our supply. We’re working actively to resupply the many stores which ran out of initial stock,” explains Microsoft's Yusuf Mehdi.

Most retailers that temporarily pulled the Lumia 950 XL from sale announced that the smartphone would be back on shelves by the end of this month.

That being said, it looks like the future of Windows Phone is bright, at least when it comes to smartphone sales. Now, if Microsoft released Windows 10 Mobile for Windows Phone 8.1 devices sooner rather than later, that would be awesome.
