This build contains lots of good bug fixes and improvements

Microsoft has finally released the long-awaited Windows 10 Mobile preview build 10586 to Windows Insiders. Although this build had to be pushed to Fast ring last week, Microsoft announced that it needed a few more days to make it work.

Today, Microsoft's Gabe Aul has confirmed Windows 10 Mobile preview build 10586 is on its way to Windows Insiders in Fast ring.

He also mentions that this build is all about bug fixes and improvements. “This build for mobile has a lot of good bug fixes and general improvements for you to check out. Overall this is a really great build, and we’re excited to get it out there for all of you to try,” explains Gabriel Aul.

The bad news is build 10586 comes with the “reboot loop” issue that we talked about last week and that seems to affect Windows Insiders that previously installed build 10581 and did a factory reset on their phones.

No new features included in this build

So, this means that if you have Windows 10 Mobile preview build 10581 on your phone and did a factory reset, you won't be able to install the new build 10586 released today since your phone will go into a reboot loop.

Since Windows 10 Mobile build 10586 is not as bug-free as possible, Microsoft recommends Windows Insiders to do a backup of their phones before upgrading to the new version of Windows 10 Mobile.

If you do get stuck at the Windows or operator logo, then you will have to recover your phone using Windows Device Recovery Tool to go back to Windows Phone 8.1.

In case you decide to do that, you will be able to upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile preview build 10586 without any further issues.

Obviously, if you notice any other major issues in this build don't hesitate to send Microsoft any problem reports or suggestions.
