The Lumia 650 is one of the few mid-range smartphones powered by Windows 10 Mobile that Microsoft plans to launch in Q1 2016.

Many details about the device leaked online in the last couple of weeks, which points to the fact Lumia 650 could be the first Windows 10 Mobile handset announced by Microsoft this year.

According to the rumor mill, Microsoft Lumia 650 will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset, coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 200GB via microSD card slot.

The smartphone could sport a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution. It will also pack 4G LTE support and front-facing speaker.

At the back, Lumia 650 should feature an 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, but there are no details on the front-facing camera.

We also know the smartphone should be powered by a 2,000 mAh battery, which could include fast charging technology.

Keep in mind, though, that all the information regarding Lumia 650's specs is based on multiple leaks coming from more or less reliable sources.

Price is a little bit higher for what it has to offer

The good news is we have some sort of confirmation when it comes to price tag. The folks over at WMPU report a major Czech retailer has just listed the Lumia 650 with a $185 (€170) price attached to it.

It's also worth mentioning that the smartphone's price after taxes will be $220 (€200). The amount that you will have to pay for the Lumia 650 isn't as low as we would have expected, considering its specs.

Microsoft Lumia 650 is expected to be officially unveiled in late February at Mobile World Congress 2016 trade fair. Stay tuned for more on this one.
