It looks like Lumia 650 will be the fourth smartphone to come preloaded with Windows 10 Mobile operating system. The handset has been recently tipped to be unveiled on January 12, and now it's been spotted at FCC (Federal Communications Commission).

The second affordable Windows 10 Mobile handset soon to be available on the market, Lumia 650, has received FCC's approval, and the only other thing we can confirm about the smartphone is the fact that it will come with LTE support inside.

The smartphone is listed at FCC with model number RM-1152, and we previously established that it's the Lumia 650.

Even though previous reports claimed the Lumia 650 would not include LTE support, which would have been unusual for a Microsoft smartphone, it looks like they were completely wrong.

According to the FCC listing, the RM-1152 will support LTE 2500 (Band 7) in the United States. On top of that, the device will offer NFC (Near Field Communication) support.

Obviously, it's possible that Lumia 650 will include support for additional LTE bands in other countries, but in the United States, it's only been confirmed to LTE 2500 (Band 7).

The unconfirmed specs

Unfortunately, we don't have confirmations of any other hardware component inside the Lumia 650, but a live picture of a prototype leaked online yesterday, so at least we know what it’s going to look like.

The rumor mill claims the Lumia 650 will sport a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

The smartphone might come equipped with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and either 8GB or 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 200GB via microSD card slot.

On the back, the Lumia 650 should feature an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, and video recording while being powered by a 2,000 mAh battery.
