If you're either a newcomer or a veteran to the Windows Phone ecosystem, Microsoft has you covered with the latest information about its upcoming Windows 10 Mobile operating system.

The Redmond-based company has just published a 2-minute video that highlights some of the most important features included in Windows 10 Mobile.

In fact, this is a very short overview of Windows 10 Mobile, in which customers will be able to learn a little bit about the operating system's new Start screen, some of the updates to Cortana, but also about Microsoft's new Edge browser.

Windows Insiders won't find anything new in this video since it's aimed at those who still own a Windows Phone 8.1 device, but did not want to spoil the surprise, so they never tried to install a Windows 10 Mobile Preview build on their smartphones.

According to the latest hearsay, Microsoft is expected to release a new Windows 10 Mobile build sometime this week.

This build will be available to Windows Insiders soon, but Microsoft will also push it to the public in the next few months.

Just a few more days until build 10586 arrives

Windows 10 Mobile build 10586 is the likely release candidate, as Microsoft is said to have already sent it to carriers and OEMs for a global rollout.

If you own a Windows Phone 8.1 and you're anxious to upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile, then you should know Microsoft recently confirmed that the rollout of the update won't start until December.

The high-end Lumia smartphones are likely to be the first to receive the update while the budget-friendly devices should be getting it beginning next year.

Obviously, this remains to be seen since Microsoft has yet to release Windows 10 Mobile build 10586 to Windows Insiders. The rumored release date for this build is November 12, so stay tuned for more on this one.
