LG G5 is one of the most intriguing flagship smartphones launched this year due to its semi-modular design, which provides multiple upgrade options for customers.

As many of you probably know by now, LG has decided to launch a slightly downgraded version of G5, which comes with only 3GB RAM inside and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset instead of the more powerful Snapdragon 820.

The less powerful LG G5 is only available in Latin America, and customers in these countries won’t be able to purchase the LG 360 VR headset either since the South Korean company believes that there’s a lack of interest in new technology in the region.

But that’s not the only LG G5 variant that the company plans to launch this year. A totally different version has been recently spotted in the UK, MobileFun reports.

Could LG launch an enhanced LG G5 model?

The so-called LG G5 SE is an unannounced smartphone of the same size as LG G5. We know that because the Quick Cover pictured in the UK confirms it fits both LG G5 and G5 SE, so they must be the same size.

Unfortunately, we know nothing else about LG G5 SE, so anything we say would be pure speculation. It could be either a Special Edition like Apple’s latest iPhone, but it won’t be as small as the iOS device.

The LG G5 SE could also be an enhanced variant of the G5, but we’re not sure what else LG could improve to make its flagship smartphone even better.

The bottom line is LG is likely to announce yet another G5 version, and hopefully, it won’t be limited to only a couple of countries. Naturally, file this under rumors because we won’t know for sure until LG comes forward with an official announcement.
