We reported less than two weeks ago that AT&T plans to launch the successor of LG G Vista. The carrier confirmed it would offer the G Vista 2, but it did not share any details on availability and pricing options.

The good news is we now know when exactly the smartphone will go on sale and how much it will cost. According to AT&T, LG G Vista 2 should be available for purchase on November 6.

Customers who want to buy the phablet will be able to do so for no less than $450 outright. In addition, LG G Vista 2 can be had for $0 down on AT&T Next 24 ($14.97 for 30 months), 18 ($18.71 for 24 months) and 12 ($22.45 for 20 months).

Last but not least, LG G Vista 2 can also be purchased for just $50, but customers must commit to a new two-year agreement.

Moving on to specs, the G Vista 2 is a considerable improvement over the previous model. The smartphone ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box.

A mid-range smartphone slightly overpriced

It boasts a large 5.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and features curved back, as well as an embedded stylus for handwriting recognition.

The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

On the back, LG G Vista 2 packs a 13-megapixel camera with Color Spectrum Sensor and Laser Defined Auto-Focus for fast, accurate white balance and low light performance.

The front-facing 5-megapixel camera features Gesture Shot and Selfie Light for state-of-the-art selfies. It's also worth mentioning the smartphone drains energy from a high-capacity 3,000 mAh removable battery.

“Only from AT&T can you get LG’s latest Android smartphone to date - the LG G Vista 2. The smartphone’s sleek new design, device features and power coupled with great value on the nation’s most reliable 4G LTE network, make this smartphone hard to resist,” said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president, Device Marketing and Developer Services, AT&T Mobility.
