Chinese operator LeTV introduced its phablet, the 1S, back in early November and made it available for purchase in China for around $175 (€160) outright.

Unfortunately, international customers can't purchase the smartphone directly from LeTV, but there are various Chinese retailers that are selling the 1s and won't charge you anything to ship it anywhere in the world.

The LeTV 1s is a very popular smartphone in China thanks to its low price and high-end specs. Still, customers from other countries won't be able to get it for such a great price.

Pre-orders for the LeTV 1s are well underway at GearBest, where you can get the smartphone for $225 (no shipping fees required). Obviously, you will have to pay custom fees for the device, depending on where you get it from.

For those unfamiliar with LeTV 1s, here is a quick rundown of all the features that make this phablet one of the best deals for those looking for a cheap high-end smartphone.

First units ship on November 30

First of all, the smartphone comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box. It features a metal-clad body and a large 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.

The 13-megapixel camera on the back features an ISOCELL camera sensor, autofocus, LED flash and video recording. There's also a secondary 5-megapixel camera in the front for selfies and video calls.

LeTV 1s is equipped with a powerful 64-bit 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 processor, a PowerVR G6200 graphics processing unit, and 3GB of RAM.

It also comes with 32GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. The 1s offers both 4G LTE and dual-SIM support, but make sure to check out the compatibility band list before ordering the smartphone.

Last but not least, LeTV 1s is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery that, fortunately, comes with quick charging support.
