One of the many smartphones announced by Lenovo in the first half of the year, the Vibe K5, is about to make its debut in Europe. The device was officially introduced by Lenovo back in February, but it hasn't made it to the market yet.

Its slightly better-featured sibling, the Vibe K5 Plus, has already been released in India, but the Vibe K5 will only hit shelves in the next couple of weeks.

According to a new report, Greece will be the first country to get the Vibe K5. Customers in this region can now pre-order the Lenovo Vibe K5 for no less than €200 outright.

Considering the better Vibe K5 Plus version is now available in India for €115, it looks like the standard model has been highly overpriced in Europe.

Anyway, those who are ready to pay the price Lenovo asks for the Vibe K5 should know that they will get a decent mid-range smartphone powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

The device is available in multiple color options, including Champagne Gold, Graphite Grey, and Platinum Silver, so there are plenty of choices for Android fans.

Octa-core CPU and 5-inch HD display

Hardware-wise, the phone comes equipped with a 64-bit 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 processor, paired with an Adreno 405 graphics processing unit, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

On the back, there's a secondary 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, whereas on the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

The Vibe K5 is only 8.2mm thin and weighs around 142g (battery included). Speaking of which, Lenovo's mid-range smartphone is powered by a 2,750 mAh battery and features Waves MaxxAudio technology under the hood, along with Dolby audio.

Also, Lenovo Vibe K5 sports a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution. When it comes to connectivity, the handset is an all-rounder, as it offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS, and dual-SIM support.
