Just a few days ago, Lenovo revealed the Vibe C2 smartphone, which came with some decent specs but didn't bring any notable design changes compared to the previous models in the series. The Vibe C2 was unveiled in Russia, and now it seems that the company has also debuted a new handset, the Vibe A.

Lenovo Vibe A is an entry-level smartphone through and through. Actually, it features some really low-end specs that it's not surprising the company has released it quietly, without an official announcement, according to Helpix. Pricing for the device hasn't been revealed, but considering the specs, it shouldn't cost much.

Lenovo Vibe A comes with a 4-inch WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) display and runs a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadrum SC 7731G processor paired with 512MB of RAM. We've seen other entry-level smartphones released this year, and many of them have come with at least 1GB of RAM and a 5-inch screen. It's quite surprising that Lenovo would launch a device with less than 1GB of RAM and such a low resolution.

Lenovo Vibe A comes with a 0.3MP front camera

Internal memory reaches 4GB of RAM, and it can be expanded to 32GB using a microSD card. In addition, the smartphone draws power from a small 1,700mAh battery, but given its other specs, the battery capacity should be sufficient. Vibe A runs Android Lollipop 5.1 with Vibe UI on top and comes with dual-SIM support. Considering that Android Nougat is just months away from its debut, many smartphones released in the past few months run at least Android Marshmallow 6.0.

Lenovo Vibe A comes with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and has a 0.3MP unit on the front. It supports 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, and has Micro-USB connectivity options. The smartphone doesn't support 4G LTE. It measures 124.5x64x10.6mm and weighs 132 grams.

Lenovo will make the Vibe A available in Black and White colors, but information on its availability has yet to be provided. With the Vibe A, it seems that Lenovo has really lowered the bar for low-end smartphones.
