One of the world's largest handset makers, Lenovo, recently announced the sequel to its mid-range phablet, the K3 Note. Lenovo K4 Note is now available for purchase in India, but it's likely to make its debut in other countries as well.

Today, the Chinese company unveiled yet another mid-range Android smartphone, Lenovo A7000 Turbo. Customers in India will be able to pick this one up for Rs 10,999, which is about $165 or €150.

While the name of the smartphone might be new, it looks like its specs are identical to those of Lenovo's popular K3 Note phablet. That wouldn't have been an issue if the K3 Note wasn't priced lower than the A7000 Turbo.

Anyway, those who really want to get the A7000 Turbo instead of the K3 Note might wish to know that smartphone ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and Vibe UI 2.0 on top of it.

Also, Lenovo A7000 Turbo boasts a large 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.

Smaller battery than the K3 Note

If you haven't guessed by now, the A7000 Turbo comes equipped with a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor inside, coupled with a Mali-T760MP2 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

Lenovo A7000 Turbo packs 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. It also features a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back with autofocus, dual-LED flash, and full HD (1080p) video recording. There's also a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera in the front.

Lenovo's mid-range Android smartphone is powered by a 2,900 mAh battery, which is actually smaller than K3 Note's 3,000 mAh battery.

Other highlights of the A7000 Turbo include 4G LTE and dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB 2.0, GPS with AGPS and GLONASS, as well as 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio.
