14 DAY TRIAL // Chinese company LeEco is desperately trying to build its brand in the United States, even though it recently run out of money. LeEco is selling a wide range of products in the US, including bicycles, smartphones, and TVs.
The US smartphone market is one of the most competitive in the world at the high-tier level. It's the country where Apple thrives and the iOS has the largest market share, so companies like LeEco that come from China must make extra efforts to make their products known to customers.
Having launched its flagship smartphone, the LeEco Le Pro3, in the US, the Chinese company is now trying to make it available to a larger audience.
The device was initially available exclusively through its online store, but LeEco promised to sign agreements with major retailers in the country for the distribution of its smartphones.
Today, LeEco has announced that two of its most popular smartphones, Le Pro3 and S3, are now available for purchase at major retailer Target. Customers can pick either of the two phones for $400 and $250, respectively.
Keep in mind, though, that neither of the two devices will work on Verizon or Sprint networks. According to LeEco, its smartphones are fully compatible with GSM/LTE networks belonging to AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket, and MetroPCS.
Speaking of the deal that customers can get by purchasing the LeEco Le Pro3 for $400, it's worth mentioning that the phone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. On top of that, the phone packs 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.
Also, the Le Pro3 sports a large 5.5-inch display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. The back side features a 16-megapixel camera with PDAF (phase detection autofocus), dual-LED flash, HDR and 4K video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 8-megapixel camera.
LeEco Le Pro3 comes with fingerprint sensor on the back side, USB Type-C port, Dolby Atmos audio technology, as well as a large 4,070 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology.
