Capcom has just confirmed two brand new things for its upcoming Street Fighter V experience. First up, fan favorite character Karin is making a comeback in the new title, while the studio is adding a special Capcom Fighters Network social space in which fans can check out their stats, past matches, profiles, and more.

Street Fighter V is set to make its debut at the beginning of 2016, and Capcom has kept a steady stream of reveals in the last few months, announcing new and returning characters, as well as beta test stages on the PS4, and many other things.

Karin is making a comeback in Street Fighter V

After confirming a brand new fighter in the form of Rashid over the weekend in Dubai, the Japanese company now shows off at the Tokyo Games Show 2015 event, via Capcom-Unity, a returning character for Street Fighter V, in the form of Karin.

Karin previously appeared in Street Fighter Alpha 3, and for the new installment, she brings her own Kanzuki style, using dash moves to close distances, as well as high-low attacks and throws. Her V-Skill lets Karin lunge forward with a palm strike and knock down opponents, while her V-Trigger kicks off with a strong attack and then gives players the chance to combine it with all sorts of follow-ups, from overhead strikes to low sweeps, flying throws, or a backdash.

Street Fighter V also includes the Capcom Fighters Network

Besides the new character, the Japanese company confirms that Street Fighter V is also going to bring the Capcom Fighters Network service, which is a social space that stores player profiles and past matches, while allowing them to schedule matches, issue invitations and challenges, as well as other things.

You can see Karin as well as the Capcom Fighters Network service in action in Street Fighter V below.
