In the statement released after he got busted for having 2 different paid accounts on cheaters website Ashley Madison, Josh Duggar owned up to living a double life and said that he’d been “the biggest hypocrite ever.” It turns out his secret online life included a bit more than just accounts on Ashley Madison.

Gawker also found an account on OkCupid that he probably set up, with the stated purpose of finding partners for “casual” hookups, while Radar Online dug up a secret Facebook page used to get in contact with female exotic dancers.

Guy from OkCupid photo is losing jobs because of Josh Duggar

For the OkCupid account, Josh Duggar didn’t use his own photo - which makes sense considering he was a well-known reality star, celebrity and lobbyist. Instead, he used the photo of a random guy that he stumbled across on a simple Google Images search.

A strong clue that the account was his is the fact that he used as name his Ashley Madison email handle, “joesmithsonnwa.” He listed as location Oxon Hill, Maryland, which is near where the family lived at the time, before the molestation scandal of 3 months ago, which forced them to move back to Arkansas.

Moreover, “joesmithsonnwa” was active on the website until September 2014, which coincides with the final payments to Ashley Madison. Apparently, when Josh stopped paying for those accounts, he also went offline on the other websites he may have been active on.

As it turns out, the random guy actually exists, and his name is Matthew McCarthy. If you type “random guy” in Google Images, his photo comes up third. On Wordpress, “random guy from Facebook” brings his photo first.

McCarthy tells TMZ that, since his face has been linked to the latest Josh Duggar scandal, he’s been losing jobs both as DJ and model, which is very damaging to his career. He doesn’t offer any figures or more specifics about how bad this hit him, but he does say he’s considering his legal options in the matter. He sees it as “defamation of character.”

In other words, in addition to everything else, Josh Duggar may also have to deal with a lawsuit for using someone else’s photo as his own online.

Josh Duggar was also on Facebook

The same email address that Duggar used to set up the Ashley Madison accounts was also used for a Facebook page belonging to Joe Smithson. Radar Online says that the page has been active as of 2004, which is 4 years before Duggar married his current wife Anna.

If this is really his account, his double life online may be far more intricate than he led the world to believe in his statement.

“‘Smithson’ is friends with 32 women, mostly attractive and young, and from the area of Arkansas where he lived before leaving for a political career in Washington, DC,” Radar writes. “He’s also a follower of a dancer at Sensations Gentleman’s Club in Arkansas, a lingerie model, and a curvy blonde blogger.”

The user was still active in January 2015, after Duggar started working as a family values activist, and only a few months before he was exposed in the media as a child molester.
