Fox brought out all the Mutants for San Diego Comic-Con 2015, which wrapped on Sunday night. After the panel and the Q&A and the release of the first footage from the upcoming “X-Men” movie, “Apocalypse,” the same cast stopped by Conan O’Brien to discuss it.

Two of the funniest moments from the interview were when James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender discussed their “epic” onscreen bromance in the franchise, and when all guests talked about the games they played on set, in between takes.

You can find them both embedded below.

Much like the older versions of Professor Charles Xavier and Magneto, Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen, McAvoy and Fassbender also get along famously. They’re not as close in real life as the older actors, but you wouldn’t be able to tell it from their interactions in character in front of the camera.

They know their story of friendship can play out like a love story or a bromance, but they didn’t know that the fans had actually reimagined it like a love story. Lucky Conan was on hand to enlighten them.

Neither McAvoy nor Fassbender are very present in the media when they don’t have a movie to promote, so that means fans get to see interviews with them only when they’re on the job. And it’s a shame this happens, because they’re absolutely adorable.
