The iPhone X will go up on pre-order in just two days, and Apple is getting ready for this crucial moment in every way it can, including a major overhaul of its official website that’s completely dedicated to the anniversary device.

The Apple.com page is now all about the iPhone X, with Apple trying to highlight some of the key features of the new model ahead of the start of sales.

There’s nothing new on the page for those who’ve been keeping an eye on news regarding the iPhone X, but the website is still worth a visit in case you want to discover the new features coming to the device.

Apple highlights the new bezel-less design and OLED display with a notch at the top of the screen, as well as Face ID, which is the company’s signature facial recognition system replacing the fingerprint sensor-based Touch ID.

Constrained supply

Launched with the slogan “your face is your password,” Face ID is exclusive to the iPhone X, and has been the subject of a long controversy, with even Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak skeptical that this system would work exactly as the Cupertino-based tech giant expects it to.

Apple also highlights the wireless charging feature, which is available not only on the iPhone X, but also on the iPhone 8 series and which the company seems to be making quite a big deal about. Wireless charging has been around for a long time on Android devices in the exact same form, but Apple still thinks this is a major addition to its smartphone lineup.

iPhone X pre-orders will kick off at 12:01 a.m. PDT on October 27, while shipments will begin on November 3. Rumor has it that the initial iPhone X supply is very constrained, so make sure you’re there on the website at the right time if you want to pre-order the model because every single second is very likely to make a huge difference given the impressive demand and the limited stock.
