The "iPhone 8" rumors continue today with a new report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who says that Apple's upcoming iPhone 8 smartphone will enter mass production in mid-September and come in three colors.

If Apple breaks its long-time tradition of releasing an "S" model one year after it launched a new major iPhone version, it looks like we'll be getting our hands on the iPhone 8 this fall, though KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that Apple plans to release the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus models too next month.

But it also looks like you'll have to get an iPhone 8 smartphone as soon as it's out, because Apple won't be able to push more than 4 million out the door in September, according to Ming-Chi Kuo's research note that was obtained by the editorial team over at AppleInsider.

Apple's next iPhone model will come with iOS 11

It's no news that Apple is unveiling a new iPhone model every year in September, and this year won't be different. But it remains to be seen if the Cupertino company will skip the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus models or not, and it there will be an iPhone 8 or iPhone Pro 10th anniversary edition released after all.

Powered by iOS 11, Apple's next iPhone model will come with a lot of changes that the competition already ships on their flagship devices, including wireless charging, iris scanner, and an improved camera. After all, all the iPhone "S" models offered significant improvements over the previous model.

It's also a know fact that new iPhone models sell out of stock quickly after they go on sale, as was the case with the iPhone 7 Plus earlier this year, which is now the most popular iPhone model in the U.S., but iPhone fans shouldn't worry about that as Apple is quick to produce additional units. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, iPhone 8 will launch in Black, Silver and Gold colors.
