Sucker Punch Productions, as the developer, and Sony Computer Entertainment, as the publisher, have announced that their upcoming inFamous 2 will be offering a number of rewards for those players who bring in their saves from the first title in the series.

[ADMARk=1]When the game is first fired up, it will prompt gamers to import Trophy data from the first inFamous and depending on the player's recorded performance a number of rewards will be offered.

Getting either Good or Evil Trophies will start the player with 1 karma level towards either moral choice while getting 25 percent of the Blast Shards form the first video game will allow players to get one free energy core right at the start of the sequel.

Those who went one step further and collected 50% of the Shards will get two cores and those who beat the game at least once will get to spend 1,000 free Experience Points on their character.

Apart from the rewards inFamous 2 will check the Trophies a player has collected and will chance some dialogue and some situations in the game in order to reflect them.

It sounds like the developers at Sucker Punch wanted to aim for some connection between their two games without importing all the choices that a player made, allowing him a certain freedom when beginning their second Cole MacGrath powered video game.

InFamous 2 will be set in a city which was inspired by New Orleans as the player-controlled character needs to nurse his wounds and prepare for another fight with an enemy has does not know how to beat.

The game will come together with an editor which allows any player to create missions and share them with others.

InFamous 2 is developed exclusively on the PlayStation 3 home gaming console from Sony and the game will be available on June 7 in the United States and the customary three days later in Europe.
