If anyone needed any confirmation of the announcement

The countdown to color has begun. That's what the description of the newest Huawei P10 and P10 Plus video teaser reads. Published on YouTube on February 19, the video is titled “Huawei P10 – 7 days to go!” so if anyone needed a confirmation that the flagship would be unveiled on February 26, then this is it.

Both Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will be unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2017 later this week, but the Chinese company won't be the only one to unleash powerful products at the trade fair.

Nokia (through HMD Global), Motorola, LG, Sony Mobile and many other major players in the smartphone industry will announce some of their top-of-the-line devices in about a week from now.

Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will be made official on February 26, but they might not go on sale until later March. However, that's enough time for Huawei to get a good head start on the “flagships race.”

Samsung, Apple and Google won't be joining the race until months later, so Huawei might be in a good position (read sales) by the time the Galaxy S8, iPhone 8 and Pixel 2 are launched on the market.

More importantly, Huawei is determined to cover both segments of the market, as the P10 is expected to feature a 5.2-inch flat screen, while the P10 Plus will boast a larger 5.5-inch curved-edge screen.

Aside from that, there won't be any other major differences between the two flagships, rumors say. They will both be powered by Kirin 960 chipsets, along with Mali-G71 MP8 graphics processing units.

Huawei has also confirmed the smartphones will feature dual-lens cameras on the back, as well as 8-megapixel selfie cameras in the front.

We also know they will be available in many different colors, including purple, gold, green, and blue. Huawei has yet to announce when they will be available and for how much, though, so stick around, maybe we'll find out before the official announcement goes live.
