As we mentioned in a previous report, HTC has decided to bring no less than four affordable Android smartphones in the United States this month.

The Desire 626, Desire 626s, Desire 526 and Desire 520 will be available at all major carriers in the US from July. T-Mobile is one of the network operators that will launch at least one of the smartphones announced by HTC.

According to AndroidCentral, in addition to the HTC smartphones, T-Mobile plans to launch two Samsung smartphones on the same date.

It appears that HTC Desire 626s, Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime and Samsung Galaxy Core Prime will go on sale at T-Mobile on July 22. The smartphones will be available for purchase for $170, $190 and $140 outright, respectively.

The reason they are so cheap is the fact that they offer mid- to low-end specs, so customers shouldn't expect anything too fancy from these devices.

In fact, at least two of them are already available in the US, but through other carriers: Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (Cricket and Sprint) and Samsung Galaxy Core Prime (Verizon).

However, for those out of the loop, here are some of the specs the Samsung smartphones have to offer.

They should come with Android 5.0 Lollipop included

The Galaxy Grand Prime is equipped with a 5-inch display that supports qHD (540 x 960 pixels) resolution and a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor.

The smartphone also packs 8GB of internal memory, 1GB RAM, microSD card slot for memory expansion and 5-megapixel camera on the back.

The Galaxy Core Prime has the same hardware configuration inside, but sports a smaller 4.5-inch display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

Last but not least, HTC Desire 626s comes with a 5-inch HD display, 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.
