We’re less than one month away from the HTC 10’s official reveal and new details about the smartphone continue to emerge online.

Although previous rumors pointed out the HTC 10 will come with an AMOLED display, it looks like the Taiwanese company has decided to include a Super LCD 5 screen inside its flagship smartphone.

HTC rarely includes AMOLED displays inside its smartphones, the One A9 is one of them, but we thought the handset maker would adopt this technology for its top-tier devices as well.

Naturally, the change shouldn’t have any impact on the phone’s functionality, especially that most HTC flagships had Super LCD displays inside and they were absolutely flawless.

Another piece of information provided by @evleaks is the fact that HTC 10 will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. We’re also expecting the smartphone to feature quick charging technology, so the battery should be charged up in less than 2 hours.

No word on microSD card slot

According to HTC, its upcoming flagship will feature a state-of-the-art camera. The Super LCD display included will feature Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, which is something that most flagships have adopted.

On the inside, HTC 10 will come equipped with a powerful quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, coupled with an Adreno 530 graphics processing unit and 4GB of RAM.

For the time being, there’s no mention of storage or whether or not the HTC 10 will include microSD card slot. We also know the smartphone will come with fingerprint sensor under the Home button.

HTC 10 is expected to be officially unveiled on April 19, but the Taiwanese handset maker has yet to confirm this date. The smartphone should go on pre-order around the same date, but it’s likely to take HTC a few weeks to make it available on the market.
