One of the most popular instant messengers for Windows Phone devices, Hike has just received a major update that brings some new features and bug fixes.

The previous major update for Hike Messenger dates back to December 2015 and brought many new features and improvements.

The new update squashes some of the bugs added in previous versions but also enhances some of the already existing features.

For example, the team behind Hike Messenger announced back in December that their application supports 500-member group chat.

Today, developers confirmed they have implemented 1,000-member group chat, which upgrades the previous feature of the messenger.

Among the most important bugs addressed in this update, Hike mentions the bug notification tray, which kept the notifications on the tray window even after opening the application.

Users can now send multiple MP3s in one go

Another issue that prevented users from uploading their new profile picture has been addressed as well, developers confirm.

Also, the Group crasher bug that prevented users from adding new members to their existing or new group has been squashed in this update.

Furthermore, the clock bug that showed everything in 12-hour format instead of 24-hour format as per your system has been successfully replicated and fixed.

Last but not least, a nasty bug that prevented users to forward anything, including sticker, message, video, photo, PDF, MP3s, it simply crashed Hike Messenger, has been addressed.

In addition to all these bug fixes, Hike developer announced they have implemented new Valentine's Day chat themes. Also, the option to share multiple MP3s (up to 15) is now available to Hike users.

If you don't have the application yet, you can now download Hike Messenger for Windows Phone for free via Windows Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices running Windows Phone 8 and up.
