Hike developers have a pretty strong beta program for their Windows Phone application, which is one of the reasons the public version is getting improved as often as possible.

The latest update for Hike Messenger brings many new features and improvements that are already available on other platforms like Android and iOS.

The most obvious change is the brand-new interface that Hike Messenger will be able to notice as soon as they open the application.

According to developers, they had re-written it from scratch and changed the design language. The new UI should make it easier and simpler to navigate.

But that's not the only change included in this update. Hike Messenger will be able to share documents and files.

With the latest version of Hike, users will be able to send unlimited amounts of all kinds of non-media files and documents of any format including PDF, ZIP, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and MP3.

500 member group chats and multiple admins option

Furthermore, developers have added no less than 10 awesome new chat themes that users will definitely appreciate. Also, users will now be able to share large files and videos of 100MB at a time.

The update introduces 500 member group chats, so you can now easily stay in touch with everyone that matters to you.

With group chats comes another new features called multiple admins, which allows users to have multiple admins in their group chat.

The latest version of Hike Messenger allows admin to restrict the right to add members in the group to themselves. Last but not least, developers have added the option to mute individual chats.

You can now download Hike Messenger for Windows Phone for free via Windows Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices running Windows Phone 8.1 and up.
