The development team at Blizzard is ready to make Overwatch part of its massive crossover initiatives, and a new video linked to Heroes of the Storm allows fans of the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena title to get a look at the new hero Tracer and the way she will impact an engagement.

The team states, "Equipped with the chronal accelerator designed by her gorilla scientist pal Winston and a pair of deadly pulse pistols to match, this highly mobile ranged Assassin zips around the Battlegrounds of the Nexus, catching enemy heroes off guard and then vanishing before they have a chance to react."

Tracer is designed to be the only character in Heroes of the Storm that can attack as she moves, which makes her very good at harassment and gives teams that use her extra options when it comes to map control.

Her special abilities allow her to dash around up to three times and can also teleport back to her previous position.

For Tracer gamers will get a chance to customize her Heroic ability at level 10, with three options that can customize her special power and a requirement to fill up a bar by doing damage before she can use it.

The new hero will be offered on April 19 for all those who have picked up a pre-order copy of Overwatch: Origins Edition for the PC, and one week later she will become available in the official shop for all those who want to try her out.

Heroes of the Storm is preparing for more heroes

The MOBA is getting a constant stream of both updates and new content from Blizzard, designed to keep fans engaged with the title as the company prepares more initiatives for the future, including a major tournament that will use the game.

The most recent patch for Heroes of the Storm introduced a wide range of balance changes that affected a range of character, including Falstad, Abathur, Brightwing, E.T.C., Illidan, Li Li, Johanna, Kael'thas, Malfurion, Muradin, Li-Ming, Tyrande, Thrall, Uther, and Tychus.

Blizzard has not said whether it plans to introduce more characters from Overwatch into Heroes of the Storm in the future.

The MOBA will also get a major tournament during BlizzCon 2016, which will take place on November 4 and 5, and until then the developers might make another big announcement about tweaks to gameplay or a range of new heroes that will be added to the experience.
