Video game developer Blizzard is announcing that it is planning a new content update for Heroes of the Storm that will introduce Dehaka as a playable character and will add some extra skins for the title while also tweaking some of the core game features for an improved user experience.

A video offers players a first look at the new hero coming to the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena, a powerful Zerg creature that is known for collecting samples from other species in Starcraft 2, although a full list of abilities and a profile have not yet been released.

Master Dehaka, Mecha Dehaka, Shadowpaw Li Li and Shogun Artanis are the new skins that are coming to Heroes of the Storm, but no official date has been mentioned for the content update.

Blizzard is also aiming to introduce more options when it comes to hotkey swapping, and Quick Cast settings can be tweaked for individual heroes, talents and abilities to make it easier for players to perform well without having to learn a control scheme that feels alien.

Basic hotkeys can be assigned to mouse buttons and players can also use a key other than Shift for queued commands.

Blizzard adds, "For those of you who’d like to share your hotkey settings with friends, or perhaps use the same hotkey profile across several Heroes of the Storm accounts, we’ve added a 'Show in Folder' button next to the Selected Profile dropdown that you can use to find Hotkey setting files on your computer. A new '.StormHotkeys' file will be created in this location every time you create and save a new Hotkey profile."

Quickcast settings can be tweaked at will once the new patch arrives

The official site offers more details about the process that gamers can use to make sure that they have a comfortable setup for all heroes by changing setting individually using a new Per Ability Quick Cast Setting in the menus.

Blizzard has recently announced a new Lost Cavern map to Heroes of the Storm, which is designed with only one lane and allows players to stay focus on the fight rather than think and explore complex strategies.

The company says that it wants to see the player community using the new map as a place to experiment with new ideas and that this environment will only be offered in the Custom Game mode for the MOBA.
