There are rumors that Rockstar is getting ready to announce a single-player downloadable content pack for Grand Theft Auto V, but the studio seems to be more interested in making sure that fans of the Online mode have plenty of new events to engage with.

Gamers are able to get access to two new maps for the Inch by Inch Adversary Mode, which has proven to be especially popular with the community, with the company adding the Grapeseed Cow Farm, which features both muck and hay, and LISA to the roster, with gamers set to get double the RP and the money if they play on them until midnight on April 24.

The new High Life week in GTA V Online will also introduce other rewards and discounts that should allow dedicated players to expand their presence in the game.

Rockstar says on the official site, "Get your ship together this week with huge discounts from Docktease on Yachts and Yacht customization options. This is your week to save big, whether you wish to expand your fleet with the mighty Aquarius, or purchase the more modest Orion and finally join the upper crust of Los Santos high society cruising the glittering seas around Southern San Andreas."

Both penthouses and stilt houses come with a 24 percent price cut for the rest of the week and the reduction also applies to garage properties in Los Santos and the associated area.

GTA V Online also adds cuts for clothes and weapons

The Bullpup rifle can be bought for 50% off from Ammu-Nation and gamers can also choose to get half off on suits, jackets, pants and shoes associated with the High Life update, as well as accessories associated with a stylish appearance.

There are also plenty of experiences that offer double the RP rewards in GTA V Online.

Recent reports from Take Two have suggested that the multiplayer experience has managed to generate no less than half a billion dollars (430 million Euro) for the publisher since it was launched, which explains the long-term support coming from Rockstar.

The rumor about single-player DLC for GTA V says that gamers will be able to play as all-new character Anthony Miller and that a lot of their time will be spent in casinos and riding horses.

The developers have not commented on the rumors about DLC, but they might make an announcement about plans during the coming E3 2016 event in June.
