A range of content linked to Halloween has already been added to the Online mode in Grand Theft Auto V, and gamers who love the experience can now also participate in some special events that will take place over the weekend, which come with unique rewards.

Starting now, gamers can use the event playlist to take part in three versions of the Slasher Adversary mode, which allows eight players to chase each other in darkness, with only one of them at a time having access to a shotgun while the rest have to do with a flashlight.

Three special T-shorts are also offered to GTA Online players, with those who log in today able to get Knife After Dark, Psycho Swingers offered for gamers who access the game on October 31, and Zombie Liberals from the Midwest provided on Sunday, November 1.

The special Snapmatic contest for the same period asks gamers to get impressive images of the two new vehicles and the variety of masks that have been added in the Halloween update.

Sweepstakes are also planned by Rockstar, with the company preparing to deliver five prize packs that include the Bugstar boiler suit, the Merryweather T-shirt, and the Los Santos Lifeguard T-shirt.

Games can also get the GTA V Body Bag Sleeping Bag, the Epsilon Program candle, and more stickers.

The special stream for the Halloween event will feature Wildcat, Lui Calibre and Swiftor, and gamers will also be able to get some T-shirts if they are watching the action, the featured models being The Meathook For Mommy, Vinewood Zombie, Hot Serial Killer Stepmom, and Cannibal Clown.

GTA V has added two content updates in less than two weeks

With the Halloween and the Lowriders drops, the development team at Rockstar is offering gamers a number of new cars to use as well as more missions to take part in and a range of competitive experiences.

It's a lot of new content, and the development team probably hopes that fans will be satisfied towards the end of the year, when a Christmas-themed update will probably be offered for the open-world title.

Rockstar has made it clear that it will focus on the Online mode for the foreseeable future, which means that any sort of single-player downloadable content that was planned has been dropped.

With the GTA V editor now offered on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, gamers have the tools to create their own missions, although they are not as complex as those delivered by Rockstar.

Despite the title's popularity on older home consoles, the studio has said that technical limitations mean it will not be offering future updates on either the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation 3.

GTA V Online allows gamers to explore Los Santos and the surrounding county while interacting with others both in friendly and in violent ways.

The experience had a number of technical issues when it was first introduced, but since then, it has gained a lot of fans, and Rockstar plans to support it in the long term.
